Waste Not Rap
"So you want to learn more about the environment and the 3 R's", said the Giraffe, "I love to Recycle, Reuse and Reduce.
When we recycle, reuse, and reduce we don't need as much landfill for our garbage, materials from nature's resources, or energy to make
things. What a saving!"
Some things you can do:
- recycle paper, magazines, glass, iron, copper, aluminum.
- take your old clothes to a charity.
- hold a garage sale.
- use products with environmentally friendly packaging.
Make up a Waste Not Song. You can use a tune you know or make up your own music. Think of ways
to make it different, funny and fun. The people who hear your song will want to help the
environment. Make up a Waste Not Skit. Let the audience feel they can do something and make a
difference. Send us the words to your songs or photos of your skits. A few of the songs and photos will be selected for posting.
