Without water the world could not exist as we know it. It stops the earth from getting too hot or cold. The amount of water has stayed the same for millions of years. We should try to keep it clean and unpolluted. About 97% of the water in the world is salt water.

Hazardous wastes are chemical substances that harm life in the water and soil when disposed of down the sink or buried in the ground. Beware of drain cleaners, bleaches, paint thinners, car lubricating oil, oven cleaners, furniture polish and swimming pool chemicals. Try to use natural non-hazardous alternatives.
Draw a picture to encourage people to not use hazardous wastes. Post it as a poster.
