Eagle Child flew to the north, searching
for the deepest cave where Crystal Wish lived. After a long
cold flight, Eagle Child finally found a deep deep cave
fill with crystal. The deeper Eagle Child flew into the
cave the more beautiful the crystals became.
At the bottom was Crystal Wish , who sat
perfectly still holding a large crystal in her hands. She
invited Eagle Child to look deeply into it. There Eagle
Child saw dirty air, polluted water and Earth's creatures
crying. Eagle Child started to cry.
Crystal Wish comforted Eagle Child saying,
" Have you not learned the little people's sectets to help
the Earth and have you not come here to make a wish?
"Yes, trembled Eagle Child.
"Then don't be discouraged", said Crystal
wish, "You must beleive that you really can do something
to help- for every little good thing you do can make a difference."
Eagle Child felt courageous again and thought,
"Maybe I should wish for purple, my wings have all the colors
but purple." But Eagle Child knew it should make a bigger
wish, a wish for everyone and said:
"I WISH THE TREES TO BE HEALTHY
THE WATER TO BE CLEAN
THE AIR TO BE FRESH"
AND ALL THE PEOPLE TO LOVE AND TAKE CARE OF THE EARTH."
"Because you have made such a powerful wish for the good
of all the Earth," exclaimed Crystal Wish, " I will give
you the color purple to complete the full rainbow on your
wings."
