The Sun is one of a billion stars. It has a volume
of one million times that of the earth and is 1,392,000
km. in diameter. It is 150,000,000 km. away from the
Earth. The earth rolls on its axis as the sun stays
in one place relative to the earth. The sun looks like
it is rising and setting.
